Senior Sales Executive

Benchmark Solutions is looking for a Sales Executive to join our team, who is strategy focused and skilled at selling through understanding the client’s needs.

As Sales Executive you will specialize in identifying market and client needs, bringing value to clients and prospects, while selling software solutions focused on the client’s value perspective. The Sales Executive will seek out these opportunities and sell the value of our solutions.

What your impact will be:

  • Generate new name business as well as cultivate major expansion business with current clients.
  • Deliver compelling and memorable value-based messaging to key decision makers and influencers (Hospital Executives/CXO’s, Nursing Executives, CIO’s, Physician Leaders and hospital committees).
  • Lead all efforts to progress and manage the sales process to close opportunities including generating leads, completing the assessment of the client to highlight key needs, defining the value of our solutions for each client and coordinating product demonstrations with definition of the key product solution aligned.
  • Create a comprehensive Sales Strategy.
  • Continually gather and analyze market data and industry trends.
  • Consistently develop comprehensive competitor knowledge.
  • Create and refine value messaging for products based on circumstances within each territory.
  • Define specific methods for delivering value messaging within each market.
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of industry competitors and consultants.
  • Stays abreast of technical, industry, and user needs and remain knowledgeable of our products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Work with prospects on a strategic level, understanding both short term and long-term goals. Build value messaging based upon each prospect’s unique needs.
  • Performs sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives for our solutions.
  • Consistently and accurately maintain a solid timeline of customer activities within an online CRM tool.
  • Develops relationships with prospects through on and off-site sales calls.
  • Coordinates RFP responses, prepares pricing and proposals and other aspects of the sales process on a regular basis.
  • Participates in team projects that support goals and objectives.
  • Works as a team member with other departments to secure customer expectations are met. Facilitates meetings as needed with these departments as part of the sales process.
  • Work with sales support and marketing teams to assure you have the materials prospects need.

What we are looking for:

  • Stays current on best practices and industry standards.
  • Experience selling to new prospects and matching the prospects needs to the value we can provide.
  • Experience with handling objections and demonstrated tenacity to show value and close large software sales in healthcare.
  • Proficient with more than one software product line or major module.
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience utilizing a sales process.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent story telling ability. Excellent listener.
  • Experience effectively utilizing an on-line CRM system.
  • 5 + years of successful sales to Hospitals or IDN’s
  • 5+ years’ experience with clinical Healthcare software and processes.

  • Extensive experience delivering compelling and memorable presentations to executives, supervisors and end users.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Professional appearance and presentation.
  • Good time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations and organization skills.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the work week on average and/or effectively leverage remote alternatives.
